Methodology
Learn... Think... Sketch… Prototype… Test… Repeat.
Technical things come very easily to me, and I take great pride in bringing products to a high level of execution. While technical excellence creates the foundation for most of my work, I am careful never to let my products be defined by it: Much more important is the emotional experience a product evokes.
I tend to start with sketches—always in the same type of notebook and always with a fountain pen. I find sketching to be the most efficient way to explore ideas. Prototyping begins only once I have a clear idea in mind.
